Can we be clear on one thing? The Flyers won the Carter/Richards trades. The Kings are the ones who acquired two $5+ mil players in Carter and Richards for two extremely young players in Simmonds and Schenn, as we as Jack Johnson later. The Kings have Drew Doughty, you were right in pointing him out as the main difference. The Kings also have more complete complementary players to Kopitar. That's where the Flyers need to improve... a standout Dman and better complementary players to Giroux. Hopefully Hextall can work some magic. But again, as far as the Carter/Richards trades... THE FLYERS WON THEM.
