Former Flyer Captain Mike Richards is spending his time with the Stanley Cup that he won back in June against the Devils as a member of the Los Angeles Kings.
Each player who is on the winning team is entitled to his own time with the cup for one day. They are able to do what ever they wish with it - as long as they don't disgrace it in any fashion.
Richards, who is an avid fisherman, tweeted a photo of a fish inside the bowl of Lord Stanley's Cup. "My new livewell" is what the centre tweeted along with the photo from WhoSay.com.
Incase you aren't fisherman savvy, a livewell is a chamber committed to keeping your catch alive until you reach the shore, so it doesn't rot or something like that.
Anyway, I'm sure this isn't disgracing the cup in anyway, but I hope Richie washes that thing out before he hands it off to one of his Kings teammates.

Players get a day with the Cup, not a week. And you claim to follow hockey?
